Community Impact

The Crosscheck Win At All Cost Initiative:
|
|
In
sports a “win at all cost” mentality leads to cutting corners, cheating
and doing whatever it takes to win a game sacrificing those in it, but
we’ve put a kingdom spin on what winning should look like in the lives
of those who play in Crosscheck and in our communities. We have
several different programs that we use to “win at all cost” in our
communities:

The Ron Scobey Christian Academic Scholarship Fund: |
Ron Scobey was a fine Christian coach who passed away at the age of 39 from a massive heart attack. In Ron’s memory we have created this scholarship fund to benefit the young people who come through our various programs. Learn more…

The Community Impact Fund: |
Crosscheck raises money to
help fund the start up of programs in under-resourced areas of our
city. Over the past two years we have raised over $75,000 to purchase
uniforms and equipment. Learn more…

The Equipment Donation Program:
|
|
We have receptacles at various
locations around the city for the collection of used sporting equipment
(Cleats, Football Equipment, Baseball Equipment, balls, athletic shoes,
etc.). This equipment is donated to any youth sports organizations

Win at All Cost Day of Service: |
|
We block off a day of service within
each season, in hopes of training the young people that we as
Christians are called to serve our communities and even at a young age
they can be used to make a positive impact. Learn more… |
